6 DAYS – TOUR PROGRAM ( NORTH REGION ONLY )

This trip will enable you to be acquainted with the Capital Of Yemen, its zigzag laned markets, the most enchanting villages of the mountains in the North Regions, and you will also be introduced to the Southern Areas ( which were prohibited to tourists during the reign of the Socialist Government, that are located along Hadhramaut Valley and Wadi ( Do'an Valley ), where you can see the arts, monument sand heritage represented by the castles, forts, and the high buildings which are built of clay, which look very fascinating if you come closer. These buildings were encompassed by date palms, which is inherited genuine traditional fruit . They were organized in the best way possible. You will also be introduced to the coast of the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea where you can behold the small harbours which are crowded with the sail boats.

1ST. Day: Reception by the stuff of the Agency, then to the hotel to have rest and breakfast, after this we will start our program by visiting the historical city of Sana'a, the capital, the National Museum, the Old City Of Sana'a, which is to be considered as a special and unique style of the Human Heritage, taking into account that it is one of the biggest and most ancient city which has survived until today in the Arab World. Lunch is to be taken in one of the restaurants of the city, while making our trip.
Overnight, dinner and breakfast to be at Sheraton in Sana'a.

2ND. Day: Visit to Thula, Hababa, Shibam, Kawkaban. Lunch to be taken in Shibam. Then we will go back to Sana'a across Wadi Dhahar ( Dhahar Valley ) in order to see Dar Al – Hajar ( Hajar Castle ), which was the residence of Imam Yahya, during the period from 1930 until 1948. This Palace was built by Imam Mansour in 1786.
Overnight, dinner and breakfast will be at Sheraton in Sana'a.

3RD. Day: Departure from Sana'a in the morning towards Taiz, across Dhamar, Ibb and Jibla. We will have lunch at one of the restaurants on our way.
Overnight, dinner and breakfast will be in Yemen Tourist Hotel, Taiz.

4th. Day: We will direct our way towards Mahweet across Thula, Shibam, Kawkaban, Al – Tawila considering that we will take the rough roads in order to go into the depths of nature and history, where we can behold the innovations of the Yemenis over phases of history, whether respescting architecture as represented by the ramparts, forts, towers, dams, irrigation canals, or the routes which were taken by the caravans loaded with the riches of the kingdoms in the South of Arabia towards the Red Sea.
Overnight in Mahweet, dinner & breakfast at Al–Mahweet Hotel.

5th. Day: We will go to Manakha City in the morning across the fertile valley of Lima, which is being planted on both sides with banana. Manakha City is located 86 km. away from Sana'a and 2200 m. higher than sea level. It is a strategic area all over the ages. In the past it was a close military site. And so Haraz and its center Manakha was a target of the Turkish invaders in the 18th and 19th centuries A.D. Then we will go towards the east as far as Hutaib, where exist the religious Shrine of the Isma'ili Sect. and a small tomb for the Yemeni Herald, Hatim Al – Hamadani, being built in the 12th century A.D. The last station of our visit will be to Hajara city, which looks for the first time that its buildings were built of the same rock and without foundations. It is a military fortified city dating back to the Sulaihi Age in the 12th Century. Overnight in Hajara, dinner & breakfast at Hajara Funduq Al - Taufik Manakha ( Local ).

6th. Day: We will go towards Hodeida in the morning. The city is located 225 km. away from Sana'a the Capital, and is considered as the main port in the Red Sea. The locations worth visit are the popular markets and fish market.
Overnight in Hodeida,, dinner & breakfast at Ambassador Hotel.

7th. Day: We will leave Hodeida in the early morning; as far as Taiz, across Bait Al – Faqih, and Zabid – the first intellectual center in the Arab World, where Algebra was known for the first time. Overnight in Taiz,dinner&breakfast at Yemen Tourist Hotel.

8th. Day: Visit the Old City Of Taiz, the market, and the two mosques of Al – Ashrafiya and Al – Muzafar. We go back to Sana'a dropping by Al – Janad Mosque, Ibb, and Jibla ( beautiful Village), having a mosque that was built in the reign of Queen Arwa Bint Ahmed Al – Sulayhi, in the 12th Century A.D. this Mosque accommodates the tomb of Queen Arwa.
Overnight in Sana'a, dinner & breakfast at Arabian Felix Hotel.

9th. Day: Transfer the Airport for departure.
